In May we had our first workshop on free motion quilting taught by Sonja Lopes at her beautiful home in Citrus Heights. The biggest revelation for me was that I could purchase a special foot attachment for my humble little Brother sewing machine called free motion foot. I can now do free motion stitching on my small art quilt pieces without having to go to someone to have it done.
